Due to the need for engaging and appropriate distant learning opportunities for general education and special education, Club Xcite is providing innovative educational and therapeutic services to students struggling with mild to moderate academic, social, emotional, and behavioral challenges both in-person and virtually.
Club Xcite is Currently Offering:
General education students
Distance Learning and Independent Study Tutoring and Coaching
If your child is enrolled in a school that is offering online classes then our private teachers and tutors can provide independent study / distant learning support. Our tutors will guide students through the curriculum, hold them accountable, and make the learning process engaging and fun. Tutors will also support students with building the necessary executive functioning skills needed to be successful as an independent online learner, such as:
establishing daily learning schedules.
establishing accountability and incentive systems.
establishing learning environments in the home that are distinct from other spaces in the home (i.e. a home office).
subject-specific tutoring for students struggling to grasp concepts on their own in a particular domain.
assignment completion monitoring (many students in IS struggle just to initiate and complete each assignment if they become overwhelmed at the sheer volume of work there is to do).
Academic Assessments
Club Xcite is offering private virtual (through video chat) Grade Level Educational Assessments by our credentialed education specialists. We will assess where the student is and put a plan together for them to keep up with their schoolwork and be ready for the next school year.
Parent Teacher Coaching Services
With parents being home now and taking on the role of the teacher many services can be provided virtually with parent supporting the student. We provide parents with strategies to support students through academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Homeschool Program Creation Support
If your child was enrolled in a school that is not offering any online classes or learning opportunities then Club Xcite can support you to create a Homeschool Program. You will work with our credentialed teachers and tutors to create a homeschool education program that fits the specific needs of your child.
Special education students
Club Xcite is an NPA (Non Public Agency) in the state of California that specializes in supporting students with IEP’s, learning disabilities, behavioral challenges or any special needs. Some of the best practices we have been successfully implementing virtually to support students with special needs are:
Increasing parent involvement through parent training and counseling to support the students where independent virtual learning is challenging due to their age or functioning level.
Offering engaging virtual services for students who are able to attend sessions independently.
