Overview: Marianne is a BCBA at Club Xcite. At a young age, Marianne knew she wanted to work with children and during high school, she became a 1:1 behavior aide at a special education classroom and that became the impetus of her career in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Education: Marianne earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology at The University of California, San Diego where she interned at the Autism Research Lab. From there, she earned her Master’s degree in Counseling at California State University, Fullerton. She then earned her certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Florida of Institute of Technology and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2009.

Experience: Marianne has over 24 years of experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. She worked as a Behavior Interventionist, then worked her way up to a Behavior Education Assistant, Clinical Supervisor, and then Program Director at a local ABA agency in San Diego for over 10 years.. She then left to work at Club Xcite’s sister company, Xcite Steps, and became the Director of ABA Programs, overseeing the BCBA group supervision, research, and social skills programs. She then left and worked as an Area Director at a healthcare organization.

Hobbies and Skills: Marianne enjoys playing the piano, going out to eat, watching musicals, interior design, shopping, and  hanging out with her fur babies and husband.

Why Club Xcite: Marianne enjoyed working at Club Xcite’s sister company, Xcite Steps so much that when the opportunity came around to pursue her love of ABA, she jumped at the opportunity to come back.
